I have been working tirelessly for the past 90 days hyping BRICKSPLOSION 2024, and thanks to these efforts, every single ticket has been snapped up by families and individuals eager to dive into our creative brick experience. I couldn’t be prouder!

-  MariLUG will be helping again with 'BRICKS BY THE SEA'  
at the Museum of Natural History in Halifax, November 2024 through to January 2025

On August 10th, 2024 we are back in action at the
Mayflower Curling Club in North End Halifax, Nova Scotia. 

With over 150 tables of brick-built creations, we hope to
inspire builders of all ages to click together their own masterpieces!

Featuring hundreds of original creations from builders from across
the Maritime Provinces, and even more from across Canada!

A special display in 2024 will focus on the 25th anniversary of the
LEGO + Star Wars  retail sets.

Vendors from across Canada will be bringing their wares, bricks and kits
for you to scoop up!

LEGO tie-in Video Games will be on heavy rotation,
including last years hit LEGO Rock Band!
The video game section will be once again operated by
*Game Over Cancer!* to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society

Over 500,000 bricks (maybe even a million?)
will be dumped into out brick pit for everyone to play with!

MariLUG is the Maritime LEGO Users Group. Without MariLUG I simply couldn't run this show. They are a collection of 40+ talented builders who love showing off their LEGO creations. There are original artworks, huge train layouts, massive brick built cities, and more.  Many of their membership will be travelling many hours and staying in hotels to make this show happen, so when you see them... ask them 100 questions and tell them how awesome the displays are... as they pour their heart and souls into the displays and being appreciated gives them Good Vibes!

The Mayflower Curling Club is the greatest host location I could ask for. Not only is it 5 minutes from my house but the staff are utterly lovely people and the space is the perfect place for a big goofy show like Bricksplosion.  Sadly, this will be the last year for BRICKSPLOSION at 3000 Monaghan Street, as in 2025 the Mayflower will be moving their rocks to a new sheet of ice out in Timberlea. Nothing but Good Vibes since 1905!

BRICKSPLOSION would simply be an ugly mess on the floor without tables and linens from MacFarlands Events! They really helped us out this year as I might have waited a little too long to book the gear. They made it work and the show will look better than ever!

In a fun surprise, it looks like we're also getting a bit of playful help from the Halifax Public Libraries. I love the local library system and have participated in a pile of great LEGO-building events at many of their branches. I reached out and they seem keen, so expect to see them there too!
